SwitchGenie offers a simple 2-component low cost system that cuts your lighting bill, conserves
energy, and is environmentally friendly. It’s easy to get started with SwitchGenie because.....
you already own the controlan ordinary wall switch.
When the switch is first toggled into the "ON" position, it turns on one lamp in the fixture (“ON” areas in illustration above).
Should more light be needed, a quick “down-up” toggle of the switch energizes a second lamp while lamps 3 and 4 stay off.
Another down/up toggle and lamps 1, 2, and 3 are energized while 4 stays off. The 3rd toggle of the swithch energizes all 4
lamps.
IMPORTANT: SwitchGenie also rotates the off lamp(s) so lamp life is even across the fixture.
Just flip the wall switch
as you normally would!

1-2-3-4 Lamp Units Available
Use the SwitchGenie Primary Switch on
multi-ballasted fixtures to not only rotate lamp
usage in the fixtures but multilevel switch the
fixtures ballasts without the need to rewire existing
line voltage circuitry or pull extra switch legs in a
retrofit situation.
EXAMPLE:
Existing Gymnasium with EXISTING 400 watt metal halide fixtures which is being retrofitted on a
one for one basis with T5HO Fluorescent high bays with each having (3) 2-lamp ballasts. Each
fluorescent high bay fixture is fitted with the SwitchGenie primary switch.
Using the existing locations, power is brought into each primary switch from the existing power at
each location and wired to the input side of the primary switch. Ballasts in each fixture are wired
to the output side of the primary switch.
NOW EACH FIXTURE CAN BE MULTILEVEL SWITCHED AND LAMP USAGE IS ROTATED AS SHOWN
IN THE ABOVE DIAGRAM BY SIMPLY TOGGLING THE POWER or INCORPORATING A LOW VOLTAGE
KEYPAD.
